2. General

We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide this website and our services or where you have given your consent. We do not embed social media plugins and do not load fonts or content from external servers. We only use Google Analytics with your consent (see section 7).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, the host processes the access data listed below on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with IONOS.

4. Server log files

Each time the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This processing ensures the smooth operation and security of the website and is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 14 days. This data is not combined with other data sources.

5. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

6. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, optionally phone number, subject and message) solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data from the contact form is sent to us by email and is not stored in a website database. We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Web analytics with Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics is only loaded after you have clicked “Accept” in the banner. Cookies are then stored on your device and information about your use of the website is collected, for example pages viewed, time spent, where the visit came from, approximate location, device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

The data may be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision. A data processing agreement has been concluded with Google. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We store your choice in the banner without a cookie in your browser’s local storage for twelve months so that the banner does not appear on every page (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page and selecting “Reject”. The Google Analytics cookies are then deleted.

8. Disclosure of data

Your data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so or if you have expressly consented. Data is only transferred to countries outside the EU in connection with Google Analytics and only with your consent (see section 7).

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. Simply contact us using the details above.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.

11. Updates

We will update this privacy policy whenever the website or the legal requirements change. In case of doubt, the German version is authoritative.
